The IV International forum "Baikal Dialogue" will take place in Chita on 2015 August

The organizers of the IV International forum "Baikal Dialogue" set a date and venue of the Forum.

On August 20 - 25 within the framework of the Forum the inter-parliamentary meetings will be held on Lake Baikal in the Buryat Republic with the participation of parliamentarians of China, Russia and Japan. On August 23 - 24 in Chita, the capital of Zabaikalsky Kray, business part of the Forum will take place.

Governor of Zabaikalsky Kray Кonstantin K. Ilkovsky ordered the creation of a working group for the organization of the Forum, which included members of the Government of Zabaikalsky Kray, the Republic of Buryatia and Irkutsk region, as well as Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Mikhail V. Slipenchuk and adviser of the Department of Special Projects of METROPOL Group of Companies Roman G. Romanov.

Organizers have designated the agenda of the Forum "Baikal Dialogue 2015". This year the main theme will be the development of natural resources of the Baikal region through the prism of environmental legislation. The participants will discuss legal restrictions effective exploitation of natural resources of the Baikal region, the implementation of major investment projects in natural resource development, fire and environmental safety of the Baikal region.

Forum participants - deputies of all levels with the participation of interfactional parliamentary group of the State Duma of the Russian Federation "Baikal", representatives of regional legislatures Trans-Baikal Territory, the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Buryatia, the executive authorities, scientific and public organizations.

The Forum's goal is to facilitate discussion between the legislative and executive branches of regional and federal government with business, non-profit organizations and academic institutions in order to protect the unique environment of Lake Baikal while promoting economic development. From 2012 to 2014 the Forum "Baikal Dialogue" was held on the shores of Lake Baikal in Buryatia and Ulan-Ude.

This year's forum will be attended by representatives of Parliament and business in Japan and China. Neighbors discuss with colleagues from the Baikal region the prospects for cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, tourism and the economy of Eastern Siberia and the Far East.
